It was deeply rewarding to join the Annual Day celebrations at St. Alphonsa Vocational Training Centre — which was also the very first skilling centre under Inclusys' Skilling and Neuro Org initiatives. 🚀

This event, beyond marking a milestone, was about recognizing the brilliance, effort, and potential of neurodivergent youth — and reimagining what vocational training can and should look like in a digital world. It was both a celebration of progress and a powerful reminder of what's possible when we challenge outdated systems and expectations. 💪

For too long, vocational training for neurodivergent and disabled communities was limited in scope — based on assumptions about what they couldn't do. But the world is evolving, and so is our understanding of potential. To this end, Inclusys Neuro Org is a startup that skills neurodivergent youth in data related digital skills such as data entry, data annotation etc, and then finds them employment, specifically gig opportunities, in IT companies thereby cultivating a gig-economy for them.

St. Alphonsa Vocational Training Centre has been the key support system in this movement to reimagine vocational training — from a narrow, task-based approach to a future-facing, tech-enabled ecosystem that reflects the needs of a digital world. What began there has now grown to reach over 10 districts, equipping more than 250 neurodivergent youth with essential digital competencies required to not only navigate but also contribute effectively in today's technology-driven world by providing them with tailored job opportunities.
This is the future. Here are some key points from my address:
💡 Redesigning vocational pathways to focus on relevant digital skills that open real doors in the IT industry.
🖥️ Equipping neurodivergent youth with the tools to succeed — not just survive — in an increasingly digital economy
💼 Placing skilled neurodivergent individuals in IT companies, where they have the chance to bring their unique strengths, perspectives, and problem-solving abilities to the table
🤝 Promoting true inclusion — not by ticking boxes, but by creating space for authentic, meaningful contribution. When neurodivergent individuals succeed, they don't just earn — they shift perceptions, influence policy, and help build a society that values diversity in all its forms
✨ Fostering confidence through technology, so that each individual knows they belong — and can lead with dignity and purpose
At its core, this goes beyond skilling - It's about trust, visibility, and creating a future where difference is not only accepted, but celebrated. 🙌
